Things We Don't Have in America

According to my classical Chinese teacher, we don't have exclamation points!

And according to the guy who cut my hair last night, we don't even have surnames.

Truly a benighted place, America.

According to the Japanese, America, and the rest of the world for that matter, does not have four distinct seasons.

The surname thing is extremely amusing, especially as i just read an article about an effort to have Chinese children use a combination of thier parents surnames in order to increase the number of last names in the country. for example if Zhou and Ma got married, they could take the name Zhou, Ma, Mazhou, or zhouma.
